Shiatsu

Shiatsu is a Japanese form of bodywork. "Shi" means fingers, (although it may involve thumb, fingers or even elbow
pressure) "atsu" means pressure. Shiatsu works with the body's own natural energy. To do so the pressure
must reach through superficial layers to the center. Shiatsu works with the meridian energy of the body to
promote health and healing. Shiatsu can be done clothed, or if done in combination with other massage,
unclothed. It can be done on a mat, or a massage table.
